This Meadowland Small ledge is made from Poplar, which is a long lasting hard wood.

Much longer lasting than our standard Kiln Dried Pine range, these Poplar ledges will be a more permanent solution to your small pet cage. Combined with the aesthetically pleasing grain colour and pattern, this collection of cage accessories will create a beautiful and safe environment for small animals such as Chinchillas, Rats, Degu’s, Hamsters plus many more.

All fixings are included for attaching to a wire cage. With each ledge you will find the larger 40mm diameter washers and wingnuts to ensure full stability of your new cage accessory. We use 40mm diameter washers to provide a greater chance at fitting a wider range of cages and bar spacing requirements.

These are all hand made and smoothed around the edges for added protection. They are 100% safe for all small animals and helps to keep their teeth down if they chew. They do not splinter and there is no risk of breathing in fine particles.
