Returning if faulty
Our refund policy lasts 30 days. If 30 days have passed since your purchase, we cannot offer you a full refund or exchange.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.
Some types of goods are exempt from being returned. Perishable goods such as treats fall under this rule.
To complete your return, we will require your original order number, your name and the reason for return. We will then reply with a RMA number which must be included within the return package.
There are certain situations where only partial refunds are granted:
- Items with obvious signs of use
- Items not in their original packaging
- Any item not in its original condition, is damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to our error.
- Any item that is returned more than 30 days after delivery
- Any items damaged due to incorrect packaging when returning
Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, usually within 3 to 5 working days.
Late or missing refunds
If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.
Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.
Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.
If you’ve done all of this and you still have not received your refund yet, please contact us at sales@meadowlandproducts.co.uk.
We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need an exchange, please contact us at sales@meadowlandproducts.co.uk stating clearly what the item is and why an exchange has been requested.
To return your product, you should mail your product to: DAG Enterprise Limited, Meadowland Products, 9 Wagstaff Lane, Nottinghamshire, NG16 5JL.
It is highly recommended that you send your returns back to us at the address provided by a tracked postage method. We cannot be held responsible for items that have been lost on their return back to us unless they have a tracking ID number to which we can help trace. Returning goods will be at the customers expense unless otherwise stated and agknowledged. Should you not wish to arrange a return yourself, we may be able to arrange this for you. You will be charged a 20% administration fee for this service.
Cancelling an order:
Under the Distance Selling Act, we offer a cooling off period of 14 days from when you receive the item. There are some exceptions that aren’t covered by this regulation, for example, if you have ordered a customised product, or are a trade buyer. If you wish to cancel your order (contract) within the cooling off period, there is no fee. If you wish to cancel your order (contract) outside of the cooling off period or if you are not covered by this, we may decide to cancel your order for you as a gesture of good will. You will be given a full refund minus an admin fee of 20%. If you have already received your order, you must keep this sealed and untouched. A refund of the order (excluding postage costs) will be processed as soon as we receive the item back. In line with Distance Selling Regulations, consumers have 30 days from when they originally placed their order to inform us of a none-delivery claim. After this period, there is nothing we can do.
