The Top Hanging Bar 36″ is designed to span across the cage to give you the ability to dangle toys or hammocks from the built-in hooks. This sturdy bar combats the issue that most double cages have if seperated into two levels (lack of bars to hang things from)
Made from the ever classic Kiln Dried Pine wood at 1″ thick, this Top Hanging Bar is built to perform while remaining lightweight and pet-safe. The smooth, natural wood finish is gentle on paws and safe for chewing, making it ideal for rats, chinchillas, degus and other small animals.
Attachments are included on both ends for attaching to a wire cage. Each ledge comes with eyelet hooks preattached underneath. In this ledge, you will find 3.

These are all hand made and smoothed around the edges for added protection. They are 100% safe for all small animals and helps to keep their teeth down if they chew. They do not splinter and there is no risk of breathing in fine particles.
The washers that come with these ledges are 4cm outer diameter. We provide large washers for two reasons: Cages come with various sizes of bar spacing, our large washers cater for the large majority. Also, the larger the washer, the more support the ledge will have and the less strain that is put on your wire cage bars.
